Isn’t there a Lovejoy Bakers café on the East Side?

Yes… and no. In the summer of 2012, we opened the big garage door into our baking facility and served a limited breakfast and lunch menu. When the large-scale Central Eastside construction project started, we had to close because access streets were being torn up and reconfigured. Currently this space is only used as our baking facility. Check out our three Westside locations.

Are you hiring?

Can you ship Lovejoy goods outside of Portland?

Unfortunately, we’re not set up for shipping and worry that our products would suffer in transit.

Do you make special holiday items?

We do! We create special items close to each holiday and offer them in the cafes or through pre-order. We also offer decorated holiday sugar cookies and many other special holiday treats throughout the year.

I’m hosting a brunch at my house. Can I preorder some items? Even a whole pie?

Sure.  Please give us a minimum of 3 days notice and we will have your order boxed up and ready for you.

Do you bake wedding cakes?

We do not do wedding cakes in the traditional since.  We offer single-tier, simply decorated cakes that can be part of a group of cakes or a dessert table.  For more detail, contact us at 971-229-0984

Can I freeze your bread?

Yes. It’s best to repackage and tightly seal the bread in plastic wrap before freezing. After thawing, try warming the bread in a preheated 350 degree oven for 2-3 minutes. Our pastries also freeze exceptionally well.

How long do your larger loaves last?

It’s best to eat the bread the day you buy it (which of course is the day we bake it!).  You can repackage leftovers in plastic wrap and refrigerate for 3-4 days.

How long has Lovejoy Bakers been open?

We opened our Pearl District location in 2010, our South Waterfront location in May 2014, and our Uptown Northwest location in March 2016.
